Ingredients
- 2 small leeks
- 4 or 5 smallish potatoes
- 2 carrots
- Pepper
- Yeast Extract
- Vegetable Stock
- Rosemary
- Pastry
- Milk
Method
- Dice potatoes, carrots, and leeks.
- Boil in small amount of water.
- When beginning to soften add vegetable stock, yeast extract, rosemary and lots of pepper.
- When reduced down add milk and reduce again.
- Allow mixture to cool.
- Shape pastry into cornish pasty shapes and add mixture to pasty.
- Brush parcels with milk.
- Bake until pastry golden brown
- Serve with lightly steamed greens.
